Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

These terms are an agreement between you and Softever Company Limited (“we”), which operates the RiseLoop app. By accepting them in the app or by using the app, you agree to them. How we handle personal data is described separately in our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 20 years old.
• During the closed beta, only people we have invited can use the app.
• You sign in with your own Google account and must keep it secure.

3. The service

RiseLoop helps you log meals, estimate energy and nutrients from photos or from text you type, keep a daily health journal, and calculate daily targets. It is currently free of charge.

4. Not medical advice

• Everything in the app is general self-care information. It is not diagnosis, treatment or medical advice.
• Estimates from photos or from typed text, and nutrient values, are approximations and may differ from actual values.
• Calculated targets come from standard formulas for the general population and may not suit you. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a medical condition such as kidney disease or diabetes, or have a history of eating disorders, consult a doctor or dietitian before changing how you eat based on the app.
• In an emergency, contact a doctor or call 1669 immediately.

5. Beta

The app is in testing. Features may change, fail or be temporarily unavailable. If we permanently shut the service down, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice.

6. What you must not do

• use the app unlawfully, or use someone else’s account
• upload photos that are not of food, that infringe others’ rights, or that are inappropriate
• try to access systems or data you are not authorised to access, or disrupt the service
• scrape the app or reverse-engineer it, except where the law allows

7. Your data and photos

Your data and photos remain yours. You allow us to use them only as needed to provide the service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy.

When you photograph the nutrition label of a product that has a barcode, the numbers you check and save (product name, serving size, energy and nutrients) may become product information that other users who scan the same barcode can see, without your name or any account detail. These numbers stay after you delete your account, and our staff may correct or hide them. A label photo taken with a barcode is kept temporarily so our team can check the product data: if you do not save it, it is deleted within 24 hours; if the numbers are shared as product information, or differ from the numbers already shared, it is kept until our team has reviewed it and for at most 30 days. Our team does not see the sender’s name or account.

8. Intellectual property

The app, the RiseLoop name and logo, its design and its food database belong to us or our licensors. You may use them only for personal use under these terms.

9. Ending your use

• You can delete your account at any time in the app, or as described on the account deletion page.
• If you break these terms, we may suspend or delete your account. We will tell you why, unless the law prohibits it.

10. Limitation of liability

The service is provided as is. We do not guarantee that estimates or targets are accurate or complete. We are not liable for loss arising from health decisions based solely on information in the app. This applies to the extent permitted by Thai law, and does not cover loss caused by our wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. For a material change, we will notify you in the app and ask you to accept again before you continue.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Thai law, and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the Thai courts.

29 October 2026

• Food label numbers. Follows up “Food label numbers” from 9 October 2026: label photos taken with a barcode are kept temporarily for our team to review. If not saved, they are deleted within 24 hours; if shared, or if the numbers differ from the shared numbers, they are kept for at most 30 days. Our team sees the photos and numbers, but not the sender’s name or account.
• The service. The service includes estimating energy and nutrients from text you type (AI search) and a daily health journal. Estimates from typed text are approximations, like estimates from photos.

9 October 2026

• Food label numbers. Nutrition label numbers you check and save for a product with a barcode may be shown to other users who scan the same barcode, never with who sent them. Numbers shared as product information stay after you delete your account, linked to no account, and the team may correct or hide them. Label photos are sent to Google Gemini to read the numbers, then deleted (this may take place outside Thailand) (followed up in the 29 October 2026 round).
